Etihad Museum
A dynamic 21st century museum, Etihad Museum is focused on inspiring its visitors with the story of the founding of the UAE.
The 25,000 m2 landmark is befittingly located at the very place where the UAE was founded in 1971. Through a unique visitor journey, the various pavilions house experience-driven exhibitions, interactive programmes and education initiatives that explore the chronology of events that culminated in the unification of the Emirates in 1971, with a key emphasis on the period between 1968 and 1974. The programmes also aim to educate visitors about the nation’s constitution, in particular - the rights, privileges and responsibilities that it bestows upon the people of the UAE.

Working Hours
On the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, all Dubai Public Libraries branches will be closed from Thursday, April 20th until Sunday, April 23rd, 2023. Work will resume on Monday, April 24th from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
The museum takes its visitors on a unique journey and offers exhibitions, interactive programs, and educational initiatives that explore the chronology of events, right up to the declaration of the UAE in 1971, with a major focus on the period from 1968 to 1974.
Through interactive exhibitions and educational programs, the museum tells the story of the federation from the point of view of the country's leaders and enriches its visitors' knowledge about the country's constitution, especially the rights and privileges it grants to the citizens of the Emirates, and the responsibilities they entail. The museum exhibits include materials and documents related to the events of the founding of the UAE, and devotes an important programme for research and publication,which contribute to documenting the eternal legacy that is a source of pride for the people of the UAE and part of their identity.
Etihad Museum officially opened on December 2, 2016, and opened its doors to visitors on January 7, 2017.
