Dubai Culture has announced that acclaimed creative director Mustafa Jawad will be the featured guest in the ‘Library Talks’ initiative, which falls under the umbrella of the ‘School of Life’ programme. Jawad will lead the ‘Animation Essentials: From Concept to Creativity’ workshop, designed to equip participants with essential knowledge and skills in animation. The workshop will take place from 21 to 23 February at Al Safa Art & Design Library, as part of Reading Month. The workshop will offer participants a comprehensive understanding of the entire animation production process—from idea development and scriptwriting to character and background design, animation techniques, and editing. Using specialised software, attendees will gain hands-on experience through practical applications that allow them to refine their animation skills and explore different creative techniques in this artistic field.

With over 15 years of experience in developing visual content, Mustafa Jawad is the co-founder of Jump Animation. He has overseen the production of numerous creative projects tailored for children and has led multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative visual content that merges artistic quality with compelling storytelling.
