The event will bring together renowned writers and thinkers - Ali Abu al-Reesh, Dr. Mohsen Alramli, and Nadia Al Najjar - to explore the current landscape of Arabic fiction. The speakers will also discuss the prospects and future of Arabic literary narrative, highlight prominent contemporary trends and creative experiences, and examine the novel’s role in shaping cultural and societal awareness.
There will also be a workshop titled ‘Narrative Techniques in Novel Writing’, delivered by Dr. Mohsen Alramli from 19 to 21 December. This aims to develop the skills of visitors to Al Safa Art & Design Library by introducing them to the fundamentals of novel writing, character development, narrative techniques, and plot. Participants will also receive training on post-writing processes and methods for achieving balance between reality and imagination, enhancing their ability to create compelling novels that blend concept, creativity, and style.
