Eid Al Adha

detail image

Eid Al Adha is one of the most significant holidays in the Islamic calendar. The name translates to ‘festival of sacrifice', and marks the end of the Hajj season, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca. During this holiday, a warm atmosphere of giving and joy is prevalent across Dubai, making it a special time for residents and visitors alike. Families gather over traditional meals, venues come alive with decorations and cultural performances, and amazing deals take over your favourite malls, with some stores offering discounts of up to 90%. There's plenty to see and do this year, with celebrations taking place across the city. Catch international pop stars such as Aseel Hameem, Waleed Al Shami, and Cairokee live on stage. Grab a bite at some of the city's best restaurants and you could win vouchers, treat your loved ones to an unforgettable family staycation, or plan a fun-filled day out at Modesh World, where the whole family is sure to find something to enjoy.
