Aiming to develop the talents of the next generations and introduce them to our rich history, Dubai Culture and Arts Authority invites school students to visit Etihad Museum, discover its masterpieces and enjoy unique workshops taking place every Saturday, The Drawing Workshop For grade 1 – 5 students Children will learn the basics of drawing through guiding instructions explaining how to draw using their imagination, shapes, dimensions and shading, in addition to offering children the space to apply their newly discovered skills by drawing the museum building, its sections and its historically valuable exhibits – all in the same place where the UAE was established in 1971. The Photography Workshop For grade 6 – 12 students Using the various and historical photos inside Etihad Museum, students will learn the basics of taking photos that tell wonderful stories, and they will understand the criteria for evaluating the photos and learn about the importance of lighting and its impact on documenting historical moments, supported with illustrative examples to consolidate the information. During the workshop, the students will take their own photos inspired by the museum building and its sections, exhibits and historical story.
