Dubai Festival for Youth Music is held in November of each year, with a youthful character, derived from ideas and musical compositions belonging to the youth category, the festival opens with a musical evening distinguished in terms of content by the performances of young emirates and residents of the UAE. The festival aims to highlight the creations of musical arts centers and individual companies specialized in the musical field located in the United Arab Emirates, and this festival provides a platform to introduce young talents and their potential in all fields of musical arts such as singing, composing, playing instruments, composing, kinetic performance and others, in addition to celebrating every year a leading and influential figure in the field of musical arts. Conditions for participation in the Dubai Festival for Youth Music 2022 1. Participants must be between 15-35 years old. 2. All participants in the festival must be from inside the country (local and residents) and the participant from outside the country is not accepted at all. 3. The duration of singing or playing should not exceed a maximum of 5-10 minutes for each musical play. 4. Musical plays participating in the festival must be produced by bands, individual production documented in the United Arab Emirates (under intellectual law) or musical plays by producers or composers known in the art scene at the level of the Arab world and the Gulf. 5. if the Competitor participated with Music Piece that attributed to persons or institutions is submitted to be licensed by the producer of the work. 6. The Organizing Committee of the Festival in the Department of Performing Arts at the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority has the absolute right to accept and reject any musical work that is not worthy of the Festival or the Emirate of Dubai. 7. The band or musical artist should not be participating in more than one musical work only. 8. All participating musical works must be realistic and it is not allowed to rely on the sound recording system. Shortlisted participants will be announced on November 20 till November 23. The winners will be announced on November 24 at the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Library.
