Dubai Culture has announced the open call for the second edition of the Talent Atelier programme, organised in collaboration with L’ÉCOLE Middle East, the School of Jewelry Arts, and supported by Van Cleef & Arpels. The initiative allows participants to expand their understanding of jewellery-making and refine their creative skills.

Dubai Culture invites Emirati and UAE-based creatives in visual arts, jewellery, graphic and interior design, and architecture to apply for the programme. Six designers will be selected to join a series of training workshops taking place from 30 June to 11 July 2025 at L’ÉCOLE Middle East’s campus in Dubai Design District (d3). The group will also have the opportunity to visit Paris from 1 to 7 September 2025 for immersive educational lessons at the new L’ÉCOLE France & Europe campus, located on the Grands Boulevards at Hôtel de Mercy-Argenteau.

Applications are open until 1st of June 2025 and will be reviewed by a jury of industry experts. Submissions will be evaluated based on the applicant’s background in the field, originality in approach, versatility with materials and techniques, and commitment to completing all stages of the initiative, including the final project.

Applicants must also be legally eligible to travel to Dubai and Paris for the duration of the programme. Preference will be given to those with prior experience or demonstrated interest in jewellery design—whether through formal education, professional work, or personal projects—as well as a clear artistic vision and a willingness to experiment. Talent Atelier is designed for individuals with strong potential to build on their learning and grow their practice for a broader impact.
