Dubai Culture, in collaboration with Dubai Municipality (DM) and the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), has announced an open call for the implementation of new art installations in the main roundabouts in Dubai neighbourhoods. This initiative is part of the Dubai Public Art strategy, launched by the Authority to offer unique artistic experiences that stimulate innovation within the creative community.

Dubai Culture has invited all emerging artists, practitioners, designers, and architects, both Emirati and UAE-based, to submit innovative ideas and proposals for creating distinctive art installations. These will be implemented at various major roundabouts in Dubai.

The Authority will begin accepting participation applications from 11th June, with 11th July as the final deadline for submissions. A committee comprising a group of experts and artists will be responsible for reviewing the applications and selecting the qualifying projects. The winners will receive a monetary prize for each project, covering the costs of design, raw materials, manufacturing, and implementation in the chosen locations.
