Ramadan Nights Festival: Inspiring Activities and Performances Celebrating the Spirit of the Holy Month

  • 06:00-12: 00 AM Saturday
detail image

Dubai Culture has announced the return of its Ramadan Nights Festival, celebrating the values, customs, and traditions that define the local community during Ramadan. This festive event reflects Dubai Culture’s commitment to social responsibility and supports the ‘Ramadan in Dubai’ campaign, launched by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, in partnership with several government and private entities.

The festival’s agenda features performances and immersive experiences inspired by Emirati customs, hosted across key sites managed by Dubai Culture. Among the highlights is Al Shindagha Museum, the UAE’s largest heritage museum, which will welcome visitors from 14 to 23 March 2025 for cultural activities. Etihad Museum will offer three creative workshops on the first three Fridays of Ramadan, while Al Safa Art & Design Library will showcase artistic productions and hands-on workshops on 15 March 2025. At Hatta Heritage Village, the Ramadan Nights programme—running from 5 to 15 March 2025—will include heritage showcases, cultural and religious lectures, and a traditional market featuring handcrafted works by local artisans. Additionally, working alongside the Dubai Club for People of Determination, Dubai Culture will present a special Ramadan event lineup for the club’s students, aimed at enhancing their skills and encouraging creativity through sessions in handicrafts, perfumery, candle making, dukhoon blending, and Arabic calligraphy.

Throughout the holy month, Dubai Culture will also launch the sixth edition of its humanitarian initiative, Ramadan Heroes, in partnership with the Emirates Red Crescent and talabat UAE. The initiative encourages community members to contribute by donating iftar meals, food parcels, Eid clothing, and Zakat Al Fitr through the Ramadan Heroes virtual charity on talabat UAE. All donations will be securely and promptly delivered to beneficiaries in coordination with Emirates Red Crescent teams.
