Dubai Culture is organising interactive workshops, cultural performances, and engaging activities inspired by the UAE’s rich heritage across its cultural and heritage sites in celebration of the 53rd Eid Al Etihad. These events aim to strengthen the presence of heritage and instil a sense of national identity in the community.
Al Safa Art and Design Library will kick off the festivities on 29 November with a series of artistic performances and workshops of local talent and culture. From 2 to 4 December, visitors to Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, Hatta Heritage Village, and Al Shindagha Museum - the UAE’s largest heritage museum - can enjoy folkloric and musical performances, interactive workshops, and cultural events inspired by local traditions.
Etihad Museum will mark the occasion by celebrating the UAE’s founding values with a vibrant array of activities, including Sadu weaving, planting workshops, Emirati hospitality experiences, and traditional delicacies, alongside Al Ayyala, Al Harbiya, and oud performances as well as children’s activities, ensuring an unforgettable cultural experience for all.
Dubai Culture will also participate in celebrations organised by Dubai Airports on 28 November. As part of its pavilion, Dubai Culture will showcase exhibits highlighting the details of the pearl-opening profession, the Pearl Diving exhibition, and various heritage and national competitions.
