Dubai Culture is launching a new season of its Dubai Public Library initiative, ‘Library Talks’, which falls under the umbrella of the ‘School of Life’ project. Through this, the Authority aims to bridge the communication gap between creatives and the public and enhance the contribution of culture and literature in enriching Dubai’s creative landscape. This will be achieved by organising a series of creative and artistic workshops, cultural sessions, and poetry evenings featuring a select group of Emirati and resident authors.
As part of the initiative’s programme, which falls under the umbrella of the School of Life project, Etihad Museum will host a workshop on 9 February titled ‘The Power of Influence’; the session will be presented by a consultant and expert in skill development, Dr Mohammed Alkhaldi, who is also a researcher in psychology. During the session, he will discuss methods for enhancing charisma and personal magnetism, as well as ways to gain the love and respect of others. The session will also cover the art of fascination in communication and interaction and strategies for improving the ability to portray different personalities.
