Dubai Culture has organized a variety of creative and artistic workshops for children at the Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children Summer Camp. The camp will be held in two sessions: the first from 8 to 19 July, and the second from 5 to 16 August 2024. The programme features a range of creative workshops designed to inspire children aged 4 to 14 to explore their creative abilities.
Children will have the opportunity to engage in pottery making, learning to use the wheel and glazing techniques. They will also be introduced to various musical instruments, photography and filmmaking techniques, and acting methods for presenting a theatre play. Additionally, they will be trained in animation techniques using clay.
During the camp, children will learn to use sand art to create murals and craft jellyfish sculptures from plastic bags. They will also gain insights into the history of pearl diving in the UAE and create artworks inspired by marine life.
All camp activities and events will be conducted in both Arabic and English, under the supervision of a select group of specialists and experts, providing a safe environment that encourages children to develop their personal skills.
