1.Access to the website/smart application of the Authority to start providing the service
2. Login to the website or smart application/create an account Login to the library and activate the account via e-mail (in case of a new membership)
3.Access to my data from my profile tab
4.Choose Upgrade Account to Subscribe to Library Membership
5.Select the membership type (Children's Membership / Adults' Membership / Family Membership).

Smart Application for Public Libraries
1.Login to the smart application for libraries /create an account in the smart application for Dubai Public Libraries. (In case of a new membership).
2. Choose to subscribe to the membership of public libraries.
3. Select the membership type (Children's Membership / Adults' Membership / Family Membership).
4. Fill in the account upgrade request data and attach the required documents according to the type of membership
5.Review and confirm the provided details
6. Apply for the request and wait for approval from the Libraries Department

Membership subscription includes access to all public libraries under the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority.

Children's membership is available until the child reaches the age of 12.
Free internet usage is available for all members.
Members receive discounts on various services.
Exclusive 25% discount on all books at Al Fadhila Library, available exclusively to members of Dubai Public Libraries.
The membership card is considered void once the member claims the security deposit.
Dubai Public Libraries reserve the right to cancel the membership if the member fails to comply with library regulations, with prior notice to the member.
The membership duration is five years, renewable with renewal fees equivalent to the initial subscription fees and for the same period, plus a fee of AED 20 for knowledge and innovation.
