Dubai Culture celebrates Emirati artists with its inaugural 'Time & Identity' exhibition, running from 16 August to 15 September 15, 2023. This exhibition is a celebration of Emirati creatives who have laid the foundation of the cultural and creative landscape in the region and defined the voice of the Arabic creative, and those who continue to build onto the fertile ground of their predecessors.

The exhibition, held at Al Safa Art and Design Library, highlights the themes of Time & Identity within the UAE.  Reflecting on the social and environmental developments of their country, a multitude of local perspectives are explored, showcasing works by 22 artists spanning the past 50 years, and investigating the relationship of those identities to their ever-evolving surroundings.
