Dubai Culture launches ‘Made in Dubai Fashion Sprint’ in partnership with Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation

Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), in partnership with the Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation (DIDI), has launched the Made in Dubai Fashion Sprint, the Authority’s first-of-its-kind fashion incubation programme. The initiative aims to support fashion designers in building scalable, commercially viable brands, contributing to the growth of the cultural and creative industries and advancing the objectives of the Dubai Design Sector Strategy 2033.
Running over eight weekends from 19 September to 8 November 2026, the programme seeks to strengthen local production by encouraging collaboration between fashion designers, local ateliers, and manufacturers. It will contribute to the development of Dubai’s fashion sector while enabling participants to build contemporary brands with strong economic value and the potential to grow and compete in the retail market.
The programme, curated for 15 Emirati and UAE-based resident fashion designers with a clear vision for developing an existing fashion brand, is meant for designers seeking to refine their creative ideas and transform a promising concept into a commercially viable fashion business.
Dubai Culture invites emerging fashion designers and creative talent to apply for the programme. Applications will be open from 3 to 28 August 2026, and submissions will be assessed against several criteria, including craftsmanship, commitment to business development, production readiness, and a clear vision for growth and expansion.
