Dubai Culture is organising a Community Day event aimed at uniting families and children through engaging activities that showcase the arts, music, and theatre. The event offers numerous cultural and artistic experiences that encourage exploration and creativity, in line with the Authority's goal to cultivate a supportive environment where talent can grow and diverse skills can be developed.

Taking place on 28 and 29 September at the Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children, it will feature a series of interactive workshops showcasing various artforms, including pottery workshops where participants will uncover how to work with clay and shape it using their hands as well as a pottery wheel. The Arabic Calligraphy workshop will allow children to discover the beauty and creative secrets of Arabic calligraphy. Families shall also enjoy reading sessions, as well as cooking workshops. Throughout the event, visitors to Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children will be introduced to the wonders of theatre, with specialised workshops on stage performance and theatrical makeup. Additionally, they will explore the art of photography, while chess enthusiasts will have the chance to learn new strategies and enhance their skills, as well as many more activities.
