32nd ArtMap Captures the Vibrancy of the UAE’s Cultural and Creative Landscape
Dubai Culture has launched the 32nd edition of ArtMap, developed in collaboration with thejamjar. The new edition offers a comprehensive guide to key cultural and artistic events, festivals, exhibitions, and initiatives across Dubai and the UAE from September to December 2026, capturing the vibrancy of the local cultural landscape and the creative momentum shaping the country. This year’s ArtMap dedicates significant space to some of the season’s leading cultural events, including the 12th edition of Dubai Design Week and ISEA2026 Dubai, the 31st International Symposium on Electronic and Emerging Art. It also features ‘Global Positioning System’ at Jameel Arts Centre and the National Pavilion UAE’s group exhibition ‘Washwasha’ at the Venice Biennale. The edition also highlights Makers’ Days, the fourth Al Quoz Creative Entrepreneurship Forum, and World Art Dubai, alongside major cultural and artistic events across Abu Dhabi and Sharjah during the season.
ArtMap will also feature a series of conversations and profiles highlighting influential voices from across the arts and cultural sector, including Mona Al Khaja, Mona Ayyash, Alyazia Al Nahyan, curators Bana Kattan and Alia Al Shamsi, as well as a feature with HE Huda Alkhamis-Kanoo marking 30 years of the Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation. Emirati multidisciplinary designer Jasim Alnaqbi, founder of Taqseem Studio, created the cover of the 32nd ArtMap. Inspired by Emirati weaving traditions and the women in his family, the concept uses weaving as a metaphor for Dubai’s evolving creative landscape, reflecting ideas of identity, craftsmanship, cultural memory, and how creative contributions carry across generations.
