: Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the Emirate's dedicated entity for heritage, arts and culture, has announced its sponsorship of the 'Al Sanyar' programme. This will air on 'Sama Dubai' TV, on the Dubai Channels Network, and will be a featured Ramadan broadcast for the channel.
Dubai Culture and Arts Authority Director of Projects & Events Moza Suwaidan, said: "We are pleased to work in partnership with leading local television channel Sama Dubai to provide our expertise, in order to deliver a meaningful programme which successfully highlights Emirati culture and heritage. This sponsorship provides a perfect opportunity to achieve many of Dubai Culture's core goals, including enriching the cultural scene in the Emirate, achieved through this excellent platform hosting experts from across the heritage sector."
Through the programme's sponsorship, Dubai Culture is collaborating with a number of specialists who have proficiency in the Emirate's culture and heritage including Abdulla Al-Mutairi Advisor Heritage Sites at Dubai Culture, in addition to Emirati crafts experts from Dubai Culture Suhaila Al Ketbi and Ali al-Shehhi
The 'Al Sanyar' programme will provide a flagship Ramadan programme for the channel, characterised by a high level of production and intellectual content. Presented by Ahmad Albdullah, and Leila Muqbali, Al Sanyar is expected to achieve widespread levels of approval amongst viewers, with its fifth season return featuring a new look which utilises the very latest tools and techniques in production. The broadcast aims to provide heritage information to a new UAE generation, with core topics including land, agriculture, and marine, and each trip includes five stations until they reach Dubai.
This sponsorship of 'Al Sanyar' program is Dubai Culture's latest in a series of initiatives and activities which aim to enrich the cultural scene in the Emirate, consolidate UAE customs, traditions and Arab heritage in the community, build bridges of communication between different civilisations and cultures, and introduce all of Dubai's communities to UAE heritage.
