Dubai Culture, in partnership with the Dubai World Trade Centre, has issued an open call for participation in the Burj Rashid Exhibition aimed at underscoring the significance of Burj Rashid and its economic impact on Dubai. Commemorating the 45^th anniversary of its construction, the exhibition pays homage to the tower as a pivotal landmark in the emirate's history. It reflects the vision of the late Sheikh Rashid of transforming a remote location into a premier business, networking, and trade hub in the region.

The Authority has invited all Emirati and UAE-based artists and practitioners in the fields of visual, digital, and literary arts, as well as designers and architects to submit their contributions and works inspired by the tower. Dubai Culture will be accepting applications from 26 February to 5 April 2024, after which a specialised committee will be tasked with evaluating the artistic works and selecting those qualified to participate in the exhibition, which will be held with the support of the ‘Sikka Platform’.

Applicants are required to submit distinctive and innovative ideas that reflect the significance and historical legacy of Burj Rashid. The work must be original and contemporary, never previously exhibited or produced, and must not conflict with the values and traditions of the local community.
